The capillary micro-implant surgery is used to replace the loss of hair in men and it is even done in women.    

There are several methods of surgery. One substitutes the individual hair or groups of hair. The surgeon uses the small hair grafts called mini or micro grafts. At a given moment 250 to 750 miniature grafts are placed.  Another method is to remove bald areas and replace them by zones (flaps) of hair that the skin has. That is, the scalp with normal hair that is moved to a new position. These procedures are done under local or general anesthesia, you can choose. Most of the times it is done as an outpatient procedure and hospitalization is not necessary.

Recovery takes from one to two weeks. Most of the patients return to their work one or two days after the micro graft is placed and one or two weeks after a flap is transplanted.
